Cartenz Peace Operations Visits Prominent Figures in Nduga Regent

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  To provide safety to the society and continue to build a communication with a lot of prominent figures, the Cartenz Peace Operations 2022 visits Priest Bertha Kogoya in the Church of Kingme Kenyam in the program Koteka, Saturday (26/3/2022).

In that occasion, the Cartenz team of Nduga that was led by The Head Regional Coordinator Ipda Murtono, S.H., visits Priest Bertha Kogoya to tighten their bonds.

Murtono said, as the slave of God, prominent religion figures in Nduga Regent has to become a leading example for the community.

“Through this kind of religious program, the religious leaders could do many positive things that could give a positive impact to create a safety in the area and develop the region,” he said.

Meanwhile, Priest Bertha Kogoya, as a religious figure in the Nduga regent, expressed his gratitude for the visit and stated will support every program by the Cartenz team.

“I would like to say thank you to The Cartenz Peace Operations team that always hand in hand established our community, and always checking the society conditions by going directly to the field and having a direct conversation with the people. For that, we highly appreciate their effort and we will support every programs that they will conduct,” said the priest.

Then he adds that the direct approach to the community was considered very appropriate in creating a sense of security, because the Nduga community in general had a different view of the security forces.

“We appreciate the team that always came to visit the community, either just to have a light conversation or giving aids. Because they often do it, the community does not feel threatened anymore with the security forces,” said Priest Bertha.

The head of Cartenz Peace Operations explained that the activities was part of their cooperation between the Police and the community leaders in maintaining security and public order to create a conducive situation.

“It is important to maintain the security stability in each region, so it is very necessary to continue to build and establish communication with the community leaders,” he concluded.
