Kapolda Lampung Stated That His Province Has The Highest Rate of Death due to Covid-19

inp.polri.go.id – Lampung. Lampung Police Chief (Kapolda Lampung), Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno, said that Lampung Province was the province that contributed to the highest number of deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

“Based on data from the Ministry of Health on March 23, 2022, Lampung has the highest death rate,” said The Two-Star General, Thursday (24/03/22).

Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno explained that the death rate due to COVID-19 in Lampung has reached 5.6%. Although it remains the highest in Indonesia, it was lower compared to last February when it reached 7.8%.

From their evaluation, the authorities found that there is still a lack of awareness of vaccination.

Previously, Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno attended and monitored the simultaneous vaccination held at the Adirejo Village Hall, Pekalongan, East Lampung on Thursday (24/03/22).

During that vaccination, the committee has prepared 550 doses of vaccine, intended for the people of Pekalongan, East Lampung.

This vaccination program is in collaboration with Polda Lampung, which in this case the Departamental Police of East Lampung Police, East Lampung Health Workers, and Pekalongan Health Center Health Workers.

Besides Pekalongan, there are several sub-districts in East Lampung Regency that carry out simultaneous vaccinations as well, including the Sekampung sub-district with 130 doses, Way Jepara with 80 doses, Gunung Pelindung with 250 doses of vaccine, Waway Karya with 90 doses of vaccine.
