The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) held a technical working meeting (Rakernis) regarding the traffic role on the development of data and information technology with the theme "Revitalization of Traffic Functions to Realize a Precise Police in the Framework of Successful National Development".
The Head of Korlantas, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi said that the National Police (Polri) had an important role in supporting national development. According to him, the traffic function is in line with the President's directives and the National Police Chief's policy.
"Today we are holding a technical working meeting and inviting all levels of traffic stakeholders related. Korlantas have an important role in supporting various national and international government programs as well as in completing national development, in line with the direction of the President and the policy of the National Police Chief," explained Kakorlantas.
Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi emphasized the need to realize an orderly traffic in the community and for all its staff to encourage technological development in the field of national development.
"In order to realize a better traffic, we need support from all the Police Chiefs in the region to realize the steps to revolutionized the gathering of info and data related to the accidents in the community," said Korlantas.
Not only that, Kakorlantas invites all its staff to build the core business of Korlantas Polri. Thus, it can have an impact and a positive image of the traffic police to the community. "We want to create an atmosphere in rebuilding the core business of traffic police for the community and the environment," he explained.
