Electronic-based traffic law enforcement is implemented using the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system and the Integrated Note Capture Attitude Record (INCAR).
Considering that based on the results of a survey by the Transportation Research and Development Agency (Balitbanghub)on the potential of the total number of people on the 2022 Eid homecoming, the peak of the homecoming flow is predicted to occur on April 29-30, 2022, and the return flow is expected to occur on May 8, 2022.
East Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jatim) Inspector General Nico Afinta said that to realize the security, safety, and traffic order of the electronic ticket, the matter was discussed at the 2022 Ketupat Semeru Operation Coordination Meeting. Ditlantas Polda Jatim will optimize the performance of traffic personnel in traffic control, traffic accident handling, and the register situation.
"In this coordination meeting, it was discussed how to realize the security and order in the traffic and making the people feel safe when traveling the toll road, and steps of what to do in each stage of its implementation," explained the Regional Police Chief in Surabaya, Wednesday (13/4/22).
Inspector General Nico Afinta also said that several legal action innovations will be conducted by Polda Jatim, such as ETLE and INCAR could not stand alone.
It must be coordinated, so that it can run according to the wishes of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in realizing contactless law enforcement.
