The Street Race of Polda Metro Jaya is now ready to be held during the fasting month of Ramadan. The Polda Metro Jaya Street Race was first held at a location in Ancol last Tuesday (5/4/22).
Polda Metro Jaya stated there will be the next race. This race aims to channel the activities of motorcycle racers so that they no longer do illegal racing on the highway.
The second The Street Race of Polda Metro Jaya will be held in BSD, precisely in the area of the highway circuit that was once used for the 2019 BSD Grand Prix. Reporting from the official release of the NTMC Police, the race in BSD will be held in April 2022.
However, the exact date is currently being discussed with the relevant parties.
"Currently, the South Tangerang Police (Polres Tangsel) Traffic Unit (Satlantas) is in the planning process to hold the BSD Street Race which is planned to be held during the holy month of Ramadan," said The Head of South Tangerang Police Traffic (Kasatlantas Polres Tangsel).
In addition to conducting a survey, Polres Tangsel also invited the community and motorcycle racing jockeys to see firsthand the condition of the asphalt that will be used as a Street Race race.
"This BSD Street Race is a program from the Metro Jaya Police Chief and the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Director," added Kasatlantas Polres Tangsel.
The program will be held in April, so it is still the fasting month of Ramadan for Muslims in Indonesia.
