Riau Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Riau) Inspector General Dr. Aris Budiman Bulo, M.Sc., ordered the police to monitor and supervise the distribution of cooking oil to ensure the availability of cooking oil during the month of Ramadan.
This was conveyed directly after attending a video conference with the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the Indonesian Minister of Industry regarding the shortage of cooking oil food ingredients, Monday (04/04/22).
"Each Police Chiefs and their staff should immediately monitor again the availability, production, and distribution of cooking oil in each region," said The Two-Star General
Kapolda Riau said that during the fasting month of Ramadan, there should be no more challenges in handling the problems of cooking oil. This is to help our community in carrying out their fasting.
To ensure the supply of cooking oil during Ramadan, he will soon form a Task Force related to the supervision of cooking oil.
Inspector General Dr. Aris Budiman Bulo, M.Sc., said that the Intelligence, the directorate of special
crime, the directorate of general crime, and the directorate of water and air police would be involved.
