During the inspection, the police found more than 3 tons of cooking oil stored in one warehouse.
One by one the warehouses belonging to the basic food sub-distributors in Kefa City, North Central Timor Regency, NTT were investigated by the Head of the Resort Police, along with the local Disperindag.
The inspection started from the PT Wings warehouse on Jalan Eltari and then continued to the warehouse store of Toko Sinar Mulia in the Kefa Terminal Complex.
During the inspection, the police found 3.3 tons of cooking oil of various packaged cooking oils in the warehouse belonging to one of the sub-distributors.
The inspection was carried out because the price of cooking oil was skyrocketing while the stock on the market was getting more scarce, the police suspected that there was hoarding.
