Tribratanews.polri.go.id - South Sulawesi Police Chief (Kapolda Sulsel) Inspector General Drs. Nana Sujana, M.M., confirmed that no hoarding or irregularities have been found in the distribution of cooking oil in South Sulawesi, on Friday (08/04/2022).
“We have a task force that monitors the distribution of cooking oil in the community every day. So far, no hoarding or irregularities have been found,” said the Inspector General Drs. Nana Sujana, M.M., amid the monitoring of the availability of cooking oil at Soekarno Hatta Port, Makassar.
Kapolda Sulsel also stated that the repackaged bulk oil has also not been found. "Initially we suspected that someone had made irregularities by repackaging bulk oil, but we haven't found that yet," explained the two-star general of Polda Sulsel.
Even so, the former North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief admitted that the police will always be vigilant and conduct strict supervision. "Essentially, we hope that the distribution of cooking oil to the public can be done quickly so that there will no more problems of delays or shortages," he said.
He adds that market operations will also be carried out in collaboration with the local government in the area so that the community's need for cooking oil can be properly fulfilled.
