Yogyakarta Authorities Monitored The Stock Availability in The Region 24/7

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Sleman. The Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Police Chief (Kapolda), Inspector General Drs. Asep Suhendar, M.Sc., reviewed the availability of food stocks at the modern market, Jalan Kaliurang, Ngaglik, Sleman, Tuesday (29/3/22).

The Kapolda and related agencies also monitor the prices of daily supplies ahead of the holy month of Ramadhan.

"So, from our observations in the past few days, the availability of stocks ahead of Ramadhan and Eid in Yogyakarta is relatively sufficient and exceeds the needs needed by the community in each district and city," said Kapolda DIY.

In this observation, Inspector General Asep saw firsthand the stock of cooking oil and sugar in the modern retail market. He even went to check the warehouse to make sure the stock was safe.

The former Deputy Police Chief of South Sumatra explained that the monitoring had actually been carried out continuously by the Yogyakarta Regional Police's Food Task Force. Mainly, related to the availability of cooking oil, both bulk and packaged.

"The inspection is actually continuously conducted every day. We have carried out this activity 44 times, and from those 44 inspections, we assure you our cooking oil stock is safe," stated the Two-Star General.
