Bareskrim Polri Pursuit the Owner of Quotex

tribratnews.polri.go.id -The Directorate of Cyber Crimes (Dittipidsiber) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), is still tracing the owner of the Quotex application, which is a fraudulent investment platform under the guise of trading. The Police have identified Doni Muhammad Taufik a.k.a Doni Salmanan as a suspect because he is suspected of being an affiliate of Quotex.

"We are still in pursuit of the owner of the Qoutex application," explained the Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri, Commissioner Reinhard Hutagaol, Wednesday (6/4/22).

Commissioner Reinhard Hutagaol also said that investigators were still examining several witnesses related to this case. So far, a total of 61 witnesses have been examined.

The witnesses examined included public figures such as Arif Muhammad, Reza Arap, Rizky Febian, Rizky Billar, and Alffy Rev. They once received money from Doni Salmanan. "Investigators have examined a total of 61 witnesses," explained the Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri.

As previously reported, the police have examined 54 witnesses related to the Quotex fraud case that ensnared Doni Muhammad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan.

"The development is that so far, a total of 54 people have been examined, including nine from expert witnesses," explained the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the National Police (Polri) Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas), Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan, S.H., M.H., M.Sc.,

According to Ahmad Ramadhan, Polri is still coordinating with relevant stakeholders in the context of tracing Doni Salmanan's assets.

"Investigators still continue to coordinate with relevant stakeholders or agencies to trace assets belonging to the suspect," he explained.
