Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Food Task Force of the Indonesian National Police revealed that daily supplies ahead of Ramadhan this year is safe and there are no obstacle in the distribution and the stability of the proce is secured.
"Generally, based on the data that was shared by all stakeholders related to the stocks, availability, and distribution ahead of Ramadhan are expecred to be sufficient," said the Head of Food Task Force, Inspector General Helmy Santika, Saturday (26/3/2022).
Inspector General Helmy Santika also conveyed that the increasing prices of the daily stocks were due to the international energy and food crisis caused by recent international conflict.
"Domestically, our discourse still revolves around the cooking oil, which is more due to the increase in the price of Crude Palm Oil as the main ingredient for cooking oil. And also other commodities that still relies on the import, such as soybeans, sugar, and beef," he explained.
In supporting the government to control the prices and ensured that the stocks ahead of Ramadhan is secured, Kapolri has instructed all Police Chiefs to directly inspect the availability of stocks in the market.
