Tribratanews.polri.go.id - NTB Police Chief (Kapolda NTB) Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto ensured that his staff will monitor people's consumption of using fuel oil (BBM) during this year's fasting month.
This effort is a follow-up to the results of an online meeting with the Indonesian National Police Chief, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, and the President Director of Pertamina. "So, to ensure that the fuel in NTB is right on target, we ordered the oil and gas task force to build intensive communication with Pertamina to oversee and monitor the availability and distribution of fuel in NTB," explained the Regional Police Chief, Friday (8/4/22).
Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto advised the industry to start using non-subsidized fuel. This was conveyed in line with the power of fuel consumption during Ramadan 1443 Hijri. Although it is known that the availability of fuel in NTB in these months is still relatively safe, Kapolda will act firmly if there are parties who caused a disturbance in the community regarding the availability and distribution of fuel.
Its availability can supply the needs until the momentum of Eid 2022. However, he hopes that all parties will participate in guarding the use of BBM in NTB so that it is right on target and in accordance with its designation.
"We hope that all parties, both the government and the TNI/Polri, can participate in guarding and supervising BBM in NTB. This is so that its use is right on target," explained Pertamina's Sales Branch Manager.
To the community, Aqil asks them to start using better quality fuel, such as Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex. By using a better quality fuel, according to him, the condition of the vehicle's engine will be maintained and the combustion system will be more efficient.
