The Chief Unit of Noken Community Development (Binmas Noken) of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Nanang Purnomo, SH., MH, accompanied by the 2015 Miss Indonesia beauty contest finalist from West Papua Olvah Alhamid, reviewed the implementation of Binmas Noken program in Intan Jaya Regency.
One of those programs are the Si-Ipar (Police Teaching) program or familiarly called the Pi Ajar Police, where Binmas Noken personnel go directly play and learn with students at YPPK Saint Misael Elementary School, Bilorai Sugapa District, Friday (6/5).
Excitement can be seen when Olvah Alhamid arrived and was warmly welcomed by the students while they were busy learning and playing with Binmas Noken of Cartenz Peace Ops.
"Good morning kids, how are you? I hope we all are in good health and always excited to learn new things," said Olvah.
She also continued her greeting by motivating the students to be enthusiastic in pursuing their goals.
"To you who want to be Miss Indonesia or police officer, you must be diligent and enthusiastic while studying. Then you can make your parents and Papua proud," added Olvah.
The Head of the Public Relations of the Task Force who was also present at the activity, explained that as part of supporting the education sector in Papua, Cartenz Peace Ops is giving its own take by taking an active role in sparking the spirit of learning to the golden generation of Papua.
"This time we are accompanied by Olvah Alhamid, and together we had the opportunity to visit the students of YPPK Santo Misael Elementary School, Sugapa, to see firsthand the teaching and learning process at the school. The activities of the Pi Ajar Police were colored with enthusiasm and happy faces of the students during the whole activity," said Kamal.
He added that by colaborating with Olvah Alhamid, who is a Miss Indonesian finalist from Papua, it is expected that the next generation of Intan Jaya Regency have the optimism in reaching their dreams.
At the end, Kamal also said that he did not deny that there were some troubles, but that this did not stop the Police in their efforts to support improving the quality of education in Papua.
