The award took place at the Aceh Police Headquarters, on Tuesday (29/03/22). Polairud East Aceh Polres previously succeeded in capturing drug networks between countries, from Thailand - to Malaysia - to Aceh (Indonesia).
"Just under two months, from January-February 2022, hundreds of kilograms of drugs were secured. We have confiscated 357.9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 206,638 ecstasy pills, 19,859 happy five pills, while eight suspects were also detained," said Kapolda Aceh.
The awards were received by the Aceh Police Narcotics Directorate, Commissioner Ruddi Setiawan, S. H., S. I. K., and the Directorate Polairud Aceh represented by the East Aceh Police Chief AKP Zainurrusydi, and two employees from the Aceh Customs and Excise Directorate General.
At the same time, Kapolda said that the award was to motivate members who were successful in carrying out their duties in the field. This is also an appreciation from the Polda Aceh to the members as well as related agencies who achieved extraordinary achievement in their duties and responsibilities.
"One of the biggest threats in this era that has the potential to damage our future generations is the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics, psychotropics, and addictive substances," said Kapolda Aceh.
The war against drugs must continue to be inflamed by all state apparatus with all elements of society working hand in hand to strengthen our community and prevent drug trafficking.
