The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya confirmed that all vehicles that go beyond the speed limit and are overloaded trucks on toll roads will still be ticketed through the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) camera, including vehicles that have ‘god plates’.
"No one above the law, including the RFS plates. Same as odd-even policies, everyone must comply with these policies," explained the Director of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, Tuesday (29/3/22).
Other than the RFS plate, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo ensures that vehicles from outside Jakarta that violate the speed limit and exceed the load will also be ticketed. Because this policy has been integrated with other Regional Police.
There are 26 Polda who have already complied with the National ETLE. "We will send (tickets) to the agency listed on the vehicle's registration certificate," explained the Director of Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya.
As previously reported, the Korlantas Polri will install speed cameras at several points on the toll road to monitor the toll road. Starting from April 2022, if they caught exceeding the speed limit, there will be a fine will be imposed.
