tribratanews.polri.go.id - Polda Metro Jaya recently has arrested a suspect of the assault of social media activist, Ade Armando, out of the six suspects. His name was initialed AP.
“Out of the six main suspects of assaults, there is also one other perpetrator who has been arrested. His initials are AP, and he was arrested in Jakarta," said Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, S.I.K, M.Sc., told the reporters, on Wednesday (13/04/22).
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya stated that AP is suspected of having provoked the masses to gang up on Ade Armando. This discovery was based on a viral video on social media.
"From what we have seen from the video that circulates on social media, the person concerned has provoked the masses by saying that Ade Armando is dead and all Jakartans join the riot," he continued.
The suspect is currently undergoing intensive examination with investigators. Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya hopes that with AP's arrest, the other three suspects who are fugitives can immediately surrender themselves.
"Currently there are three more suspects that we are pursuing," concluded Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya.
