According to AKP Anton as the Head of Drugs Investigation Unit at the Tulang Bawang Police, the raid was carried out after they received reports from residents.
From this disclosure, the police arrested a non-married couple who were in a rented house with the initials RJ and ST. Based on the report, they are residents from Pekanbaru, Riau.
In addition, the police also secured methamphetamine as the evidence which had previously been stored by the two.
“Our members have arrested a non-married couple in a rented house. After conducting a search, we found methamphetamine stored by the two,” he said.
Currently, the two perpetrators must undergo a legal process at the Tulang Bawang Police Headquarters to carry out further examination of the drug trafficking case.
