The President of Indonesia Ir. H. Joko Widodo ensures that the homecoming 2022 will be allowed with a condition that they were vaccinated with the booster vaccine. Fulfilling that order, The Chief of Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M. Sc, emphasized that the National Police (Polri) wilm improve their vaccine acceleration program by establishing vaccine booths along the road that frequently used in homecoming.
He said that the booths in Eid Homecoming Post 2022 is etablished for the people who have not been vaacinated.
"Along the road, we will prepare a posts that will serve a booster vaccination," said Kapolri after closing a meeting in Wyndham Hotel, Surabaya, Saturday (26/3/2022).
This is part of the government's effort in preventing a surging case of Covid-19 because this mass public mobilization has huge risks of transfering the virus to the family back home. Therefore he implores the public to support this vaccine acceleration, so they can interact safely with their family.
"We advised people to be fully vaccinated before go homecoming, and it is much better if they also get their booster, especially the elders back home, because they are among the vulnerable group of Covid-19. We will prepare a strategy to accelerate the vaccination program," he said.
The Four-Star General allowed the community that haven't got fully vaccinated or received booster vaccination to visit the booth they have prepared.
Regarding the policies of Ramadhan prayers that has slowly turned normal,he hopes that the people would still adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions to help the government maintaining this good course that we took.
"On the other hand we still have to monitor the restrictions policies in the society to maintain the good health of the community. Therefore, we have to accelerate the vaccination program," concluded former head of the criminal investigation agency.
