the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the National Police (Polri) Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas), Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan, S.H., M.H., M.Sc., said that so far a total of 54 witnesses have been questioned.
“We have examined a total of 54 people, consisting of 9 expert witnesses, which are two linguists, two ITE experts, three criminal experts, one investment expert, and one cyber security expert,” he explained, Thursday (24/3/22).
Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan emphasized that his party is continuing to coordinate with relevant stakeholders to trace the assets of Doni Salmanan. “Investigators continue to coordinate with relevant stakeholders or agencies to trace the assets belonging to the suspect,” explained Karo Penmas.
Doni Salmanan has officially been named as a suspect in a case of alleged investment fraud of Quotex. He was charged with Article 45 A paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and/or Article 3 and Article 4 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering and with a maximum sentence of imprisonment. 20 years and/or a maximum fine of Rp10 billion.
