The Directorate of Special Economic Crime(Dittipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of The Indonesian National Police (Polri) is currently investigating cases of alleged fraud and embezzlement of Richard Mille luxury watches worth Rp77 billion.
This case was first reported by, Tony Sutrisno, who is a businessman. The report regarding this watch fraud is registered with the number: STTL/265/VIL2021/Bareskrim Polri on 26 June 2021.
The alleged suspect of this fraud and embezzlement of the luxury watch is a person named Ric L, who is the brand manager of Richard Mille Indonesia.
"Investigators have received the report, now in the process of investigation," explained the Head of the Public Information Section (Kabag Penum) of the Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, S.I.K., on Wednesday (6/4/2022).
He adds that investigators are still conducting further investigations. Several witnesses have also been examined by investigators. Even so, investigators have not yet obtained sufficient evidence to do further investigation.
