Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Kapolda NTB), Inspector General Drs. Djoko Poerwanto inspected the stock and price of cooking oil at two modern retail warehouses, and a regional distributor warehouse in Mataram City to secure the needs of the community during Ramadhan.

“Along with the police chiefs and stakeholders, we inspected the availability of the stocks in Mataram City, and it is quite good. We assure you we have the goods. Bismillah, in the future it will be smooth," said the NTB Police Chief, on Monday (28/03/22).

The Head of the Mataram City Trade Office, Uun Pujianto, who was also met during the inspection, confirmed that the stock of cooking oil, both bulk and packaged, was still relatively safe.

“From the two locations that we have visited, all of the stocks were safe. So during the month of Ramadhan, hopefully, the conditions will be safe and there will be no difficulties," said the Head of the Trade Service.

Regarding the price, he said bulk cooking oil was still above the highest retail price (HET) of Rp. 14 thousand.

"The market price is still IDR 18,000, while at the distributor level it varies. The bulk oil is still in the range of IDR 14,650, still above the HET. So this bulk price has not been balanced by the HET," said the Head of the Trade Service.
